EMF Subscriber Benefits and Guidelines To submit a message to EMF World, send it to emfsubs@emfmail.org The following guidelines are intended to make the information conveyed through EMF World more accessible. The guidelines are: · no concert announcements (send them to ae@emf.org), · no job (or other) opportunities (send them to opps@emf.org), · no messages to a single person (send them directly to the person), · every message should be meaningful and informative, and · the subject (or thread) of your message should be in the subject field. Note: Personal notices such as CD releases, prizes, travel schedules, etc. will be edited, compiled and sent out to the network under the general heading of EMF Bulletin Board. Please note also that your email address is automatically added to the EMF World listserv when you become an EMF Subscriber. If at any time you decide that you would rather not receive EMF World, click First, all of your performances and events for which we receive information in timely fashion, whether or not they are electronic, are listed in our Arts Electric email calendar, sent weekly to reach approximately 20,000 colleagues, producers, curators, academics, and members of an interested public worldwide. Second, whenever it's suitable or appropriate, we'll promote your ideas, inventions, instruments, and activities and interests in articles, interviews, notices, images, video and/or audio clips, and information in other formats in our Arts Electric website (currently in the process of redesign). Let us know what you're doing by listing your events, participating in EMF World (see below), or by contacting us directly. To list an event we need to know: · the name of the event, · date, time, and place (address, city, and country) of the event, and · a place to go for further information (website, email, or phone). Please send the information early rather than later to · a hi-res photo, · a brief and personal artist's statement, · a brief description of what you do, · a press quote, · a brief paragraph listing important professional credits, and · a statement of what you do now. If you already have an artist page, we advise you to verify and update the information on a regular basis. Please send all materials and information to us at But as an EMF Subscriber, you'll have an inside track to knowing what we're doing. And whenever and however it makes sense, presenting your work will be a priority in our productions and programs. We suggest that you look at the EMF website from time to time and verify that the link is correct.
